About
I grew up in Southern California, in Long Beach - on the west side of Long Beach. Then moved out to Downey and then went to UCLA. I lived on the Westside for years. Then I went to Grad School in Berkeley. I was there for 12 years before coming back home in 2005. That’s when I joined the city of L.A.
I spent most of my career in the environmental justice and sustainability areas. My first full time job was working at an environmental justice organization in the Bay Area doing community organizing and advocacy work. It was about building community-based leadership and being part of the decision-making process on issues that affect communities.
Now, the focus is on how I can leverage my reputation & network for a new wave of innovators & disruptors who aim to alter the political & private landscape for the betterment of, not just Los Angeles, but the world at large.
If this sounds like your mission—let's talk.
